Andrew Dobson

Andrew Dobson is a qualified Chartered Surveyor who began his career at Donaldsons in 1997, became their youngest partner and then moved to BCM in 2004.

Andrew has particular strengths in analysing portfolios and implementing a business plan. His main clients include Ares, Columbia Threadneedle, CBRE GI, Clearbell, Accrue and a number of high net worth individuals.

Major projects Andrew has been involved with include:-

  • ​The Rusland Portfolio - 17 NHS Primary Health and Well-being Properties throughout the UK purchased for Ares, with a value of circa £300m.  The properties are subject to RPI annual reviews

  • The Greater London Portfolio - A mixture of Offices, Industrial, Retail and Leisure properties purchased for Accrue Capital with a value of circa £33m

  • The Starbucks & Costa portfolios - the funding of circa 30 Starbucks and Costas on Morrisons car parks throughout the UK representing LXI Reit with a value of circa £60m

  • The Retail Warehousing/Industrial portfolio - sold on behalf of Clearbell to Mileway for circa £55m

  • The Amber Portfolio - the purchase of 29 assets from Aberdeen for £153m for Clearbell Asset Managers

  • The Mayfair & Belgrvia Portfolio - Sold on behalf of NAMA and a private client for £25m - all properties are long leasehold

  • The Neo Portfolio - the disposal of 34 government properties for £120m to CLS

  • Magnet Portfolio - the purchase of 25 trade units for £26m for Threadneedle

  • OEIC Portfolio - the transfer of £130m of assets for Invista to an open Ended Investment Company

  • BCPH Portfolio - the purchase of 20 assets totalling £155m for Invista

  • Gort Portfolio - the purchase of circa 35 assets for Alburn - a private client of BCM

  • Laurel Pub Company - sale of over 180 pubs UK wide for £340m for the tenant to London & Regional
